View answerThe Sports Capital and Equipment Programme (SCEP) is the primary vehicle for government support for the development of sports and recreation facilities and the purchase of non-personal sports equipment throughout the country. Allocations made under SCEP to the organisation referred to by the Deputy were as follows:
• €35,000 under the 2005 SCEP round (provisional allocation subsequently withdrawn in 2010)
• €18,000 under the 2017 SCEP round (grant remains provisionally allocated)
