339. Deputy Niamh Smyth asked the Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media when the sports capital grant will be payable to club (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. [41291/24]

The club referred to by the Deputy has been provisionally allocated funding for the 2023 round of the Community Sport Facilities Fund (formally the Sports Capital & Equipment Programme). The club has been in contact with the Department and has been advised of the steps required in relation to securing formal approval.

Once formal approval has been secured, the grantee can then proceed to engage with the approved suppliers and subsequently seek reimbursement from the Department for any relevant expenditure incurred.
