218. Deputy Pearse Doherty asked the Minister for Transport the number of delayed departure and arrival times for the Bus Éireann Expressway routes (details supplied) for each month in 2024; the reason for each delay; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1092/25]
View answerAs Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport; however, I am not involved in the day-to-day operations of public transport.
Further, Bus Éireann's Expressway services, including route X30, is a commercial bus service and responsibility for the operation of the service is a matter for the company. I have, therefore, referred the Deputy's question to Bus Éireann for direct reply. Please advise my private office if you do not receive a reply within ten working days.
