The Lime Avenue at Castletown House, Celbridge is a shared space that operates as a pedestrian priority route.

The Office of Public Works operates a policy of pedestrian priority in all shared spaces at heritage sites in its remit across the country. This allows for service vehicles, both OPW and contractor vehicles, to access all parts of the sites and parklands to undertake the necessary work required to manage and operate heritage sites while also ensuring the safety of all.
