822. Deputy Ken O'Flynn asked the Minister for Social Protection the number of individuals referred to JobPath providers (details supplied) since a contract was first commenced; the number of individuals referred to each provider who have secured and remained in employment for 12 months or more, since a contract for both providers commenced. The JobPath service commenced in 2015 and referrals to the JobPath service ceased in June 2022 with the service ceasing completely in June 2024. JobPath providers continued to provide a service to existing customers during a run-off period.

The referral numbers to individual JobPath providers under contract and agreements are commercially sensitive. The overall total number of commenced engagements with the JobPath service by year is  provided in the table below.
