164. Deputy Peadar Tóibín asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the number of persons to attain a green certificate qualification in the State in each of the past ten years. [25484/25]

Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine

The Green Cert programme is accredited by Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI), the national agency responsible for validating education programmes in Ireland leading to QQI awards. It is delivered by public and private providers from across the further education system.

My Department does not collate statistics on the number of persons who obtain the Green Cert. The Deputy is advised to contact QQI for details on Green Cert completions.
