Deputy Emer Currie asked the Minister for Children, Disability and Equality if she will consider launching a nationwide text alert system for disabled parking to allow individuals to report illegally parked vehicles by sending a text message with the bay number to an enforcement team; and if she will make a statement on the matter. This is not a matter for the Department of Children, Disability and Equality. Enforcement of disabled parking is a matter for the relevant Local Authority and An Garda Síochána.
