243 Deputy Nicky McFadden asked the Minister for Health the level of engagement that has taken place between his Department, the Health Service Executive, the Irish Medicines Board and the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland and other bodies to manage the problem of prescription medicine shortages in pharmacies; the progress that has been made on this issue to date; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
