Deputy Robert Troy asked the Minister for Health the progress on reforms regarding the serious concerns surrounding Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) which have been reported repeatedly for years (including both the very concerning review of CAMHS in the Mental Health Commission and Maskey reports) and yet families across Ireland have seen no urgent action or prioritisation of reform, 22,000 children referred to CAMHS each year continue to be failed as a result.
