Bye-elections took place in April 2021 to fill two vacancies in the Seanad caused by the resignations of Senator Michael D’Arcy and Senator Elisha McCallion.
Maria Byrne and Gerry Horkan have been elected to Seanad Éireann.
Polls closed and votes were counted on 21 April 2021. The electorate for the bye-elections was the Members of Dáil Éireann and Seanad Éireann.
