OSCE PA sessions
The members of the Assembly come together three times a year to debate a wide variety of issues relevant to the ultimate goal of human security for all in the OSCE region.
The Assembly meets in an annual winter session held in Vienna in February each year. The winter meeting consists of meetings of the standing committee and the three general committees of the Assembly.
The annual session of the Assembly, which convenes each July in the parliament of an OSCE participating state, is the largest event in the Assembly's calendar. At the annual session, the Assembly meets in the standing committee, three general committees and in plenary session to debate and pass recommendations on OSCE-related issues and to elect new officers.
The annual autumn meeting is also held in an OSCE participating State, usually in October. It consists of a parliamentary conference, a meeting of the OSCE PA Mediterranean forum and meeting of the standing committee.
Members also participate in election observation missions at the request of OSCE.
