16 Mr. Lawlor asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht if he will acquire for the State the historic site (details supplied) in Dublin 8 in view of its archaeological heritage and in due deference to the concept of natural justice for the owner of the site whose development proposals are prevented under the provisions contained in the National Monuments Acts, 1932-4; and his views on other approaches to the matter that might balance the requirements for preservation with the small inner city residential proposals.
