The Ireland-Nepal Parliamentary Friendship Group was launched yesterday in Leinster House. The group will aim to strengthen relations between the two countries at parliamentary level.
The Ceann Comhairle, Seán Ó Fearghaíl, TD, is chairman of the friendship group and Maureen O’Sullivan, TD, is convenor. The group will explore areas in which Ireland and Nepal can collaborate and discuss the possibility of parliamentary exchange visits.
