Oireachtas TV has released a new studio debate, "Census and Parliament".
Flor MacCarthy chairs the debate on the influence the Census has on social and economic planning, as well as on the Parliament implementing those plans.
The show also takes a behind the scenes look at the Central Statistics Office, CSO, and finds out exactly how the census is put together.
Flor is joined in the studio by Michael O'Regan, parliamentary correspondent, The Irish Times, Dr. Donal De Buitléir, director of PublicPolicy.ie, and Dr. Eoin O'Malley, Department of Law and Government, DCU.
