Darach Ó Séaghdha, author of Motherfoclóir: Dispatches from a not so dead language and presenter of the Motherfoclóir podcast, gave a talk to staff in Leinster House today.
Darach shared his interest in new and old Irish words and discussed ways of giving people opportunities to speak the language.
The event was part of Straitéis na Gaeilge – The Houses of the Oireachtas Service Irish Language Strategy for Bliain na Gaeilge.
