For the first time, the Library & Research Service (L&RS) is making its Bill Digests available to the public.
Bill Digests are impartial analyses of proposed Government legislation. Their purpose is to support TDs and Senators in preparing for Second Stage debates on Bills in the Houses of the Oireachtas. In 2017, the L&RS published 34 digests.
From this month, new Bill Digests are published on this website one week after they are circulated to Oireachtas members. This will give the public greater access to the research produced by the L&RS.
