A dedicated website has been launched at Dail100.ie as part of the Houses of the Oireachtas centenary commemorations for the first Dáil.
The website features a central timeline that starts with the general election of 14 December 1918 and runs up to the general election of 24 May 1921 shortly after the final meeting of the first Dáil. It contains a range of historical content relevant to the time. All the debates for the public and private sittings of the first Dáil are included with occasional margin notes added to give context. Over 20 essays (long reads) have been written and picture essays have been compiled from artifacts of the period. All details about upcoming Dáil100 events will be posted to the website.
