The Oireachtas Friends of Science and Technology hosted an online talk on DNA sequencing, Covid-19 mutations and the Irish role in sequencing the Coronavirus today.
The talk was given by Dr Fiona Crispie of Teagasc Moorepark. Dr Crispie is a co-investigator in the Irish Coronavirus Sequencing Consortium, a project set up to sequence Covid variants isolated in Ireland.
The Oireachtas Friends of Science and Technlogy is a cross-party group of TDs and Senators who aim to help the Houses of the Oireachtas engage with scientific research.
