This week the third edition of the European Parliament's Disability Rights week will spotlight the rights and inclusion of persons with disabilities across all areas of EU policy. Committees will organise hearings and other activities focusing on the rights of persons with disabilities, identifying barriers, sharing good practices and strengthening accessibility.
Meanwhile, when in Nicosia for the Conference of Presidents’ (CoP) visit for the coming Cypriot Presidency, European Parliament President Roberta Metsola will meet Cyprus President Nikos Christodoulides.
