PAC to discuss Rehab CEO resignation as part of Committee Business tomorrow

2 Apr 2014, 15:52

The Committee of Public Accounts is scheduled to resume its examination of the expenditure of public monies by the Rehab Group at its meeting on 10th April, 2014 in Leinster House.

The Committee notes the decision today of the Chief Executive of Rehab Angela Kerins to retire. Ms Kerins, along with the Chief Financial Officer of the Rehab Group and members of the remuneration committee of the Group and Mr Frank Flannery, the former CEO of the Rehab Group, are due to give evidence to the Committee on a range of issues relating to the service level agreements between Rehab subsidiaries and State bodies, the remuneration of executives of Rehab and the use of funds received under the charitable lotteries compensation scheme.

While the Committee has not received correspondence from Rehab arising from the decision of the CEO to retire, it will discuss this development tomorrow when dealing with housekeeping matters relating to its on-going work programme.
