PAC outlines work programme to deal with C&AG report on Project Eagle

The Public Accounts Committee has today outlined its work programme to deal with the Comptroller and Auditor General’s report on the National Asset Management Agency’s sale of Project Eagle, including witnesses to be invited and a provisional timetable of meetings.

Among the witnesses the Committee has agreed to invite before it are:

Frank Daly, Chairman, and Brendan McDonagh, Chief Executive, NAMA
Minister for Finance Michael Noonan TD
Former First Minister of Northern Ireland Peter Robinson
Deputy First Minister of Northern Ireland Martin McGuinness
NAMA Board Members
The Secretary General, Department of Finance, Derek Moran and relevant Department officials
The former Secretary General, Department of Finance, John Moran

The Committee will begin its work with a meeting with the C&AG and NAMA representatives on 29th September and the Minister of Finance, Michael Noonan on 6th October.

A updated schedule of witness appearances will be released when dates and times have been finalised.
