We will also return to the topic of transport, this time with a focus on the agricultural and equine sector. Mr Brian Kavanagh, CEO of Horse Racing Ireland, will explain the significant obstacles Brexit poses to the movement of horses - for racing and breeding purposes - across the border. The Committee will be particularly keen to discuss how to mitigate the effects of potential tariffs being introduced for the movement of bloodstock between Ireland and Britain. Later in the afternoon, we will turn our attention once again to the myriad issues Brexit poses for border communities, including, customs barriers, trade and the ongoing efforts to nurture peace and good will.”
