Health Committee to discuss ‘orphan drugs’

The Joint Committee on Health will meet tomorrow, Wednesday at 9am in Committee Room 3, Leinster House.

The agenda for the meeting is as follows:

Session A: The processes and criteria used when evaluating ‘Orphan Drugs’ [Representatives from the Health Service Executive; and the National Centre for Pharmacoeconomics ];

Session B: Funding of ‘Orphan Drugs’ [Representatives from the Alpha One Foundation; and Muscular Dystrophy Ireland]
