Irish Language Committee to discuss Údarás na Gaeltachta’s Strategic Plan

Speaking in advance of the meeting, Committee Chair, Catherine Connolly TD, said, “The Údarás na Gaeltachta 2018-2020 Strategic Plan outlines the organisation’s approach to the development of sustainable Gaeltacht communities. The Committee welcomes the opportunity to engage with Údarás na Gaeltachta on their aims for the coming two years. Members will be particularly interested to hear how the organisation plans to promote greater use of the Irish language in cultural, social and economic contexts in order to ensure its survival.”

The meeting will start at 5pm in Committee Room 4, Leinster House.
