The Joint Committee on Transport, Tourism and Sport will discuss the National Sports Policy 2018-2017 with Minister Shane Ross TD on Wednesday, Nov. 14, at 1:30 p.m.
The National Sports Policy proposes over the coming decade to double funding for sport, boost public participation in sport, and strengthen high-performance programmes for Olympians and Paralympians.
Joining Minister Ross at Wednesday’s meeting will be Brendan Griffin TD, Minister of State with special responsibility for tourism and sport.
