4 Apr 2019, 10:24

The Joint Committee on the Implementation of the Good Friday Agreement will meet this afternoon to discuss cross-border initiatives.

Representatives from the North West Strategic Partnerships Group will appear before the Committee.

Committee Chair, Seán Crowe TD said, “At today’s meeting, the Committee will hear from the North West Strategic Partnership Groups on how they are working together in order to achieve greater success in addressing the issues facing border communities. Brexit will of course be the main topic of discussion as it continues to cause anxiety amongst cross-border communities and businesses. The Committee will be keen to discuss economic and infrastructural concerns, as well as how to maintain investment in the face of Brexit.”

The meeting will start at 2.15pm in Committee Room 4. Watch the meeting live here
