Joint Committee on Employment Affairs and Social Protection to hear Pre-Budget Submissions from St Vincent de Paul and NCBI

The Joint Committee on Employment Affairs and Social Protection will meet tomorrow (Thursday) at 10am in Committee Room 4, Leinster House to hear Pre-Budget Submissions.

Appearing before the Committee will be representatives of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul and the National Council of the Blind of Ireland (NCBI) outlining their priorities and observations ahead of Budget 2020 next month.

Speaking ahead of the meeting, Committee Chairman John Curran TD said: “It is important Members hear the views of these organisations involved in the provisions of vital social supports. Members look forward to engaging with the representatives of St Vincent de Paul and the NCBI on their Pre-Budget Submissions.”
