Joint Committee on Business, Enterprise and Innovation to meet Minister Heather Humphreys for Brexit update

Items likely to be discussed include the Department’s ongoing preparations in case of a ‘No Deal’ Brexit on October 31, and the revised Withdrawal Agreement negotiated last week between the European Commission and the Government of the United Kingdom.

Speaking ahead of the meeting, Committee Chair Mary Butler TD said: “The agreement reached last week is very positive and Members look forward to engaging with Minister Humphreys on how these arrangements on avoiding a hard border on this island would work in practice and what it would mean for businesses.”
