Finance Committee to continue its discussion on matters related to Tracker Mortgage’s

The Joint Committee on Finance, Public Expenditure and Reform, and Taoiseach will meet tomorrow with a Report on Tracker Mortgage’s to be discussed.

The Central Bank’s Tracker Mortgage Examination, the final Report of July 2019, will be examined with representative from two organisations due before the Committee.

Representatives from Central Bank of Ireland will appear in the first session, 10am-11.30am, with Representatives from Financial Services and Pensions Ombudsman due to attend between 11:30 and 1pm.

In advance of this meeting, Committee Chairman John McGuinness TD said: “At our meeting, the Committee will receive an update on the final report of the Central Bank on the Tracker Mortgage issue. We are eager for the Central Bank and the financial institutions involved to resolve this matter fully, and ensure all those impacted by this issue are provided with redress for the difficulties that they experienced as a result of the issue.”
