Joint Committee on Enterprise, Trade and Employment to meet with An Tánaiste Leo Varadkar

The agenda for the meeting with the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment covers:

·         The employment rights and health and safety of content moderators; and

·         The re-activation of the economy following the disruption caused by the Covid 19 pandemic.

Committee Cathaoirleach Deputy Maurice Quinlivan said: “The Committee welcomes this opportunity to meet with An Tánaiste to discuss these important matters. Following our engagement last week on the employment rights relating to content moderators, we look forward to hearing the Minister’s views on these matters. We would also like to hear his plans for reactivating the economy as society reopens and recovers from the shutdowns over the last year due to the public health restrictions to counter the Covid-19 pandemic.”

The Joint Committee on Enterprise, Trade and Employment has 14 Members, nine from the Dáil and five from the Seanad.
