The Budgetary Oversight Committee will discuss the Public Service Performance Report 2020 with officials from the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform at a meeting in Leinster House tomorrow, Thursday 20 May.
The meeting will take place in Leinster House, Committee Room 1 at 9.30am.
Speaking before the meeting, Cathaoirleach of the Committee Neasa Hourigan TD: said: “The Committee welcomes this engagement with the Department to discuss the recently published 2020 Public Service Performance Report (PSPR) which gives and overview of how public funds are allocated and used and provides performance indicators for each Government Department Vote. “Of particular interest for discussion is how the report can be used to better understand Government spending, the appropriateness of indicators, how they could be improved, the link between indicators and spending and progress on Equality Budgeting and Green Budgeting.”
