The Joint Committee on European Union Affairs will meet Commissioner for Financial Services, Financial Stability and Capital Markets Union Mairead McGuinness in Leinster House, tomorrow, Thursday 15 July at 9.30am.
The meeting will take place in Committee Room 2 with the Commissioner appearing virtually by video link.
Cathaoirleach of the Committee Joe McHugh TD said: “The Committee welcomes this engagement with Commissioner McGuinness to discuss a range of topics including the Ireland/Northern Ireland Protocol and outstanding issues between the EU and UK on implementing the agreement; the EU sanctions regime, and the policy priorities under the financial services, financial stability and the Capital Markets Union (CMU) portfolio.”
