The Joint Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence will meet Turkey’s Ambassador to Ireland, His Excellency Mr Mehmet Hakan Olcay, tomorrow, Tuesday 12 October in Leinster House, Committee Room 4 at 3.00pm.
Ambassador Olcay was appointed as Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Ireland earlier this year.
Committee Cathaoirleach Charlie Flanagan TD said: “The Committee welcomes tomorrow’s engagement to discuss and further develop Turkey- Ireland relations and to discuss Turkish foreign policy in particular Turkey’s relationship with neighbouring countries outside the European Union.”
