The Joint Committee on Housing, Local Government and Heritage will meet tomorrow, Tuesday, 23 November, with the Chairperson Designate of the Heritage Council, Dr Martina Moloney, and the CEO, Virginia Teehan.
Speaking ahead of the meeting at 3pm in Committee Room 3 of Leinster House, Committee Cathaoirleach Deputy Steven Matthews said: “One of the roles of Joint Committees is to invite the Chairperson designate of a statutory agency before the Committee to discuss their priorities for the role.
“We welcome this opportunity to meet with Dr Moloney and look forward to hearing her strategic vision for the next five years for the Heritage Council, whose mission is to develop a wide understanding of the vital contribution that our heritage makes to our social, environmental and economic well-being.”
The Joint Committee on Housing, Local Government and Heritage has 14 Members, nine from the Dáil and five from the Seanad.
