The Joint Committee on Public Petitions will meet tomorrow, Thursday, 20 January, to discuss the Ombudsman for the Defence Forces Annual Reports 2017-2018, 2019 and 2020 and related matters.

The meeting at 1.30pm in Committee Room 4 of Leinster House will hear from Mr Justice Alan Mahon, Ombudsman for the Defence Forces and Brian O’Neill, Head of Office, Office of the Ombudsman for the Defence Forces.

Committee Cathaoirleach Deputy Martin Browne said: “This is the latest in our series of meetings with Ombudsmen and the Committee welcomes this opportunity to meet with Mr Justice Mahon and Mr O’Neill.
