The Joint Committee on Tourism, Culture, Arts, Sport and Media will meet tomorrow, Wednesday, 26 January, with representatives of Raidió Teilifís Éireann (RTÉ) to discuss RTÉ’s Public Service Statement and Irish Language Services.
The meeting at 1.30pm in Committee Room 1 of Leinster House will hear from Dee Forbes, Director General of RTÉ, and Moya Doherty, Chairperson of the RTE Board.
The Committee will also discuss correspondence from RTE to Minister Catherine Martin regarding concerns in relation to the RTÉ Board appointments process.
The Joint Committee on Tourism, Culture, Arts, Sport and Media, chaired by Deputy Niamh Smyth, has 14 Members, nine from the Dáil and five from the Seanad.
