Joint Committee on Transport and Communications to discuss the Transport Strategy for the Greater Dublin Area 2022-2042

The Joint Committee on Transport and Communications will meet later today, Tuesday, 28 June, to continue discussion on the Transport Strategy for the Greater Dublin Area 2022-2042 at 7pm in Committee Room 2 of Leinster House. 

The Committee will hear submissions from:

·       Anne Graham, CEO National Transport Authority (NTA)

·       Hugh Creegan, Deputy CEO National Transport Authority (NTA)

Committee Cathaoirleach Deputy Kieran O’Donnell said: “The Committee looks forward to further discussion and engagement on the published final draft of the Transport Strategy for the Greater Dublin Area with the NTA to ensure that realistic provision is made for a sustainable, accessible and effective transport system in the Greater Dublin Area in a manner that serves the needs of urban and rural communities, supports economic growth and meets climate change requirements.”

The Joint Committee on Transport and Communications has 14 Members, nine from the Dáil and five from the Seanad.
