The Joint Committee on Justice meets for engagement with the European Parliament Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs

The Justice Committee chaired by Deputy James Lawless TD meets tomorrow, Thursday 22nd September 2022 in Committee Room 4 at 11am for engagement with the European Parliament Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs on GDPR enforcement.  

The Committee will hear from:

·       Ms Maite Pagazaurtundúa – MEP Spain

·       Ms Birget Sippel – MEP Germany

·       Mr Paul Tang – MEP The Netherlands

·       Ms Gwendoline Delbos-Corfield – MEP France

·       Ms Clare Daly – MEP Ireland

Speaking ahead of the meeting Committee Cathaoirleach Deputy James Lawless TD said “our Committee will use this opportunity to impart to our European counterparts the analysis and research that we have undertaken through Committee meetings on GDPR and likewise will take onboard their experiences to date on the subject.”
