Joint Committee on Defence and National Security meets for a briefing on Recent Air Corps Developments

The Committee will hear from:
•    Rossa Mulcahy, Lieutenant General, Defence Forces of Ireland
•    Mr. Rory O Connor, Brigadier General, Defence Forces of Ireland
•    Ms Jacqui McCrum, Secretary General, Defence

Speaking ahead of the meeting Committee Cathaoirleach Deputy Rose Conway-Walsh TD said “We meet tomorrow with senior representatives from the Defence Forces of Ireland to examine recent developments in the Air Corps. With the changing international landscape, the sustainability and optimal functioning of the Defence Sector is now more important than ever. 
We will look to those attending tomorrow to outline the strategies and timelines they envisage for the Air Corps in addressing the continuing challenges currently being faced.”
