Joint Committee on Fisheries and Maritime Affairs to discuss best international practices in Marine Protected Areas

The Joint Committee on Fisheries and Maritime Affairs will meet tomorrow, Tuesday, 19 May, to discuss best international practices in Marine Protected Areas.

The meeting at 11am in Committee Room 2 of Leinster House will hear from:
•    Representatives of Sussex Kelp Recovery Project
•    Belinda Bramley, Co-Founder and Director of the Protected Areas Foundation
•    Prof Mark John Costello, Faculty of Biosciences and Aquaculture, Nord University Norway
 
The Joint Committee on Fisheries and Maritime Affairs chaired by Deputy Conor McGuinness has 14 Members, nine from the Dáil and five from the Seanad.

The meeting in Committee Room 2 can be viewed live on Oireachtas TV.
