The Joint Committee on Housing, Local Government and Heritage will meet tomorrow, Tuesday, 26 May, at 3pm in Committee Room 3 of Leinster House to discuss the Operations of Tailte Éireann with officials from Tailte Éireann.
Committee Cathaoirleach Deputy Micheál Carrigy said: “Tailte Éireann was established in December 2022 as a statutory body bringing together the Property Registration Authority, the Valuation Office, and Ordnance Survey Ireland.
“Its core functions include maintaining the national land register, providing accurate mapping and geospatial data, and delivering independent property valuations for the State. Through these roles, it supports the functioning of the property market and provides essential data and services to government, businesses, and the public.
“The Committee welcomes this opportunity to meet with officials from Tailte Éireann and looks forward to a wide-ranging and informative discussion on the body’s operations and related matters.”
The Joint Committee on Housing, Local Government and Heritage has 14 Members, nine from the Dáil and five from the Seanad.
The meeting in Committee Room 3 can be viewed live on Oireachtas TV.
Committee proceedings can also be viewed on the Houses of the Oireachtas Smartphone App, available for Apple and Android devices.
