time putting the brakes on our economic activity have resulted in soaring levels of debt and soaring bills...There are many measures in the budget today that sound like they should be welcomed....We need a plan with clear objectives and accountability that can be measured as a success or a failure...The strategic housing development, SHD, process has yielded no houses, but it has yielded legal bills...For example, peat producers in Latvia are absolutely delighted with the behaviour of the Government.

referred earlier in relation to dismantling the county committees of agriculture in the context of this Bill...Kirk, has been assisting the process in trying to get more substitution for and less importation of horticultural...the moment will recognise the need for people to put down silage slabs and to introduce preventative measures...To get on to the future funding of ACOT and AFT under the Bill, and recognising what I have been saying...I was sorry to see so much ministerial control inserted into this Bill.

provide the early years sector with an additional €200 million support in 2020, and up to 31 March 2021...Key legislation in this area that I hope to continue to advance is the Gender Pay Gap Information Bill...I increased its allocation by €61 million this year to €878 million for 2021....I hope these measures, and the follow-up measures the Government will take, will start to rebuild trust...All of these legislative measures will require extensive scrutiny.

We are all very much aware of the rising cost of living and this budget includes measures to help families...The extension of the relief in this year’s finance Bill will help to generate employment and the growth...This is an increase of €91 million, or 21%, on our core capital allocation for 2021....This measure could benefit up to 400,000 people. Tax relief for broadband remains unchanged at 30%....will also help families with their medical bills.

These measures have to be brought forward a lot quicker....In my constituency, 40% of the roads are built on peat foundation yet there is no further discretion...respect of the children's hospital, or where the €400 million overrun in respect of broadband up to 2021...or the €1.5 billion overrun between 2021 and 2027 are coming from.
