themselves without any political interference, every industry will tend to settle down at the point of minimum...consumers will benefit by the exchange of industrial products from the places where they are produced at a minimum...Then, by trying to divert it from the point of minimum cost inside that area to another area, the costs...consumer more than it would have been if the industry had been allowed to settle down at the point of minimum...We must incur those costs with our eyes wide open and we must try to reduce them to the minimum.

That criticism was levelled at us in 2000 by the OECD....This is the most definitive regulatory Bill we have had since....However, that is the case with most Bills....If we want our nation to compete with other countries, we cannot place ourselves at a disadvantage....The Bill does not apply to many of those large companies.

This Bill tends to amend that situation in that it gives incentives....It gives incentives to the man who works for a wage to save money....I wish to stress this because they also are of benefit to the worker who is earning a wage in industry...Any investment will have to be for a minimum of three years before the sliding scale of taxation comes...I welcome this Bill.
