    15 May 2019 - the amendments and they seem fairly straightforward but I want to make some general points about the Bill...In November 2016, officials from the Department of Justice and Equality appeared before the justice committee...We spent the next couple of months liaising with the Department to get the Bill passed by summer 2017...Report Stage are not yet ready but we have been told we will have to wait for them to be tabled in the Seanad...On behalf of all Deputies and some of the dedicated staff who have worked on the Bill, I suggest that

    24 May 2017 - I thank all my colleagues who spoke in support of the Bill....I am delighted to say our Competition (Amendment) Bill 2016 to introduce collective bargaining rights...in the Seanad....There is nothing contentious about the Bill....I accept that this Bill is not the panacea and there are other measures.

    28 Mar 2017 - I welcome the opportunity to speak on the Bill as it was a specific commitment in Fianna Fáil's 2016...Fianna Fáil supports this Bill which provides a medical card for all children in receipt of the domiciliary...In the Dáil and Seanad during the term of the previous Government, Fianna Fáil was to the fore in highlighting...can be done, especially for children with disabilities, which is why we included a proposal in our 2016...The Bill is a welcome measure for those in need.
