I refer to head 14, relating to the requirement for employers to have a formal remote working policy....Some of the employees may be working remotely in an unusual way....Much of the remote work we are discussing seems to me to be desktop type of work....Those circumstances should not be mixed up with a request for remote working....the job at interview that they have the right to work remotely.

Obviously we are advocates for remote working but we are not necessarily advocates for remote only....in a remote-first way....is an employer saying that every employee needs to be in the office every Monday and Friday but can work...Ideally, remote first means the employee can decide when to go to the office and when to work from home...Considerable work, thought, intentionality and planning needs to go into it.
