P. O FATHAIGH (Galway South) moved and COUNTESS MARKIEVICZ (St. Patrick's, Dublin) seconded:—
"That the Principal of the Limerick Technical Institute be dismissed and the vacancy advertised."
The ACTING-SPEAKER said that this report was based on the administration of the schools. He thought they should get a competent Principal. Mr. de Lacy could still be retained as a teacher of certain classes.
CATHAL BRUGHA (Waterford Co.) moved, and LIAM MAC COSGAIR (Kilkenny North) seconded:—
"That this matter be deferred to next Session."
After further discussion, it was decided, on the motion of FIONAN O LOINGSIGH (Kerry South), seconded by SEAN MAC AN TSAOI (Monaghan South) that the Ministry be empowered to deal with the matter.
