ESTIMATES FOR HALF-YEAR Ended 30th June, 1921.

The MINISTER FOR FINANCE asked for permission to take up the Estimates at this stage.
The MINISTER FOR FINANCE mentioned that the following alterations were rendered necessary in the Estimates as presented in Appendix D. of his Report:—

At the suggestion of the PRESIDENT a sum of £5,000 was added to cover organising expenses, etc., in connection with the North-East Ulster elections.
At the request of the ASSISTANT MINISTER FOR IRISH a vote of £5,000 for the Department of Irish was included.
The estimates as amended, amounting in all to £185,900, were then proposed by the MINISTER FOR FINANCE, seconded by LIAM DE ROISTE (Cork City), and unanimously approved. The amended Estimates are as follows:—
