THE ASSISTANT MINISTER FOR DEFENCE said he regretted that the Minister for Defence was unable to be present to-day, as he was suffering from an attack of influenza. He then made a verbal Report on the activities of the Department since the last meeting and moved its adoption. This was seconded by T. HUNTER (Cork, North-East).
