On the Question Paper yesterday there was a question from me addressed to the Minister for Industry and Commerce. It was not answered, and it does not appear on the Question Paper to-day.
ORAL AND WRITTEN ANSWERS.
I was informed that the answer was to be supplied to the Deputy in writing
The arrangement I suggested yesterday, in reply to a question, was—that replies to questions not answered orally should be sent in writing to the Deputy who had the question down, and that those replies should be incorporated in the official reports of the Dáil. That was agreed, except in the case of the two Deputies who have just asked questions, and who signified their desire for oral answers yesterday, and, failing that, preferred to put the questions down again to-day.
That arrangement was not carried out. I had a question down, and I got no reply.
