To ask the Ceann Comhairle if he will say when he expects to be able to furnish Deputies with copies of the proceedings of the last Dáil, in accordance with the promise. Further, to ask him if he will be able to furnish such Deputies as want them with copies of the proceedings of the First Dáil.

The proceedings of the last Dáil are being prepared, and will be ready shortly. I am unable to say precisely when they will be available. Copies of the proceedings of the First Dáil are available, and will be placed in the Members' Room for reference of all Members of the Dáil.

May I intervene to ask you whether you could arrange for copies of the Official Gazette to be placed in the Members' Rooms.

The Official Gazette is not a Parliamentary publication, and unless we can establish that it is the privilege of the Dáil to have it in the Members' Rooms we cannot do so. I think it is already available in the Members' Room, and the complete file will be available.

I suppose it is in the same position as the Irish Times newspaper, which is not an official publication, yet.
